FAQs

What information do I need to provide at the initial consultation?

At the meet and greet, you will need to fill out our questionnaire and discuss any additional information and requirements.  Your pet will need to be up to date on vaccinations.  This is essential for dogs (please have a photocopy of the veterinary card or send a photo by phone or e-mail) and recommended for cats.  Keys can be collected at the free meet and greet appointment. A: Yes, we will clean floors and carpets to the best of our ability.

Do you always visit at the time we ask for?

A: Walks and cat visits can be booked within a time slot (usually within half an hour) unless medication has to be administered at a specific time which can be discussed at the meet and greet.

What do you do on a cat visit?

Your cat will be fed once or twice a day as per your instructions, fresh water, change of litter and cuddle/play time if needed.  If medication needs to be administered, this will be discussed in advance. We are happy to collect mail, water plants, open/draw curtains, put bins out and switch lights on and off.

What do you do on a puppy visit?

Puppies should not be left on their own for longer than 2 hours at a time.  We can visit to clean up any accidents, provide short walks once vaccinations have been done and offer play time.

What happens after my initial phone call?

We can arrange a mutually convenient time for a meet and greet appointment. We will go through a questionnaire and discuss your pet(s) requirements, sign a contract and obtain a key. It is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have, get peace of mind your pet will be in the best care and most importantly, for us to get to know your pet.
